Congratulations to Jenesis Arevalo on being named student of the month at Russellville High School.

On November 15, students enrolled in Pre-Educator classes at Russellville High School participated in Educator Rising Competition Region 1 conference at ATU. Seven students placed either 1st or 2nd in their events and will go on to compete at the state competition on March 29th at Arkansas State University. Those students are 1st Place: Creative Lecture (TED Talk) - Kaylee Simpson 1st Place: Ethical Dilemma - Joy Skaggs & Emmalei Blythe 1st Place: Inside Our Schools - Sadie Hilton & Sigrid Christenson 1st Place: Lesson Planning & Delivery - STEM - Kaytlynn Cartegena 2nd Place: Lesson Planning & Delivery - STEM - Haylee Bryant 1st Place: Public Speaking - Emilie Young 1st Place: Interactive Bulletin Board - Maddie Daniel & Laurel Henderson Educators Rising is a national program sanctioned by the Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Students in Educators Rising study the field of education.
