Shelley Ritter, a 4th grade teacher at Sequoyah Elementary School, was recognized with a Staff Excellence Award for her strong leadership, dedication, and positive impact on Sequoyah.
Mrs. Ritter transitioned from teaching 2nd grade to 4th grade this year, taking on the new challenges with enthusiasm and flexibility. She has embraced the transition while continuing to support her students and colleagues.
Mrs. Ritter consistently brings joy, warmth, and encouragement to the campus, lifting up students and staff even on the busiest days. She is also an exceptional team player who approaches each day with a collaborative “let’s get it done” attitude, eagerly stepping up to support her coworkers and help wherever needed.
In addition to receiving the Staff Excellence Award, Mrs. Ritter was also named Sequoyah’s Latte Legend of the Month for September in recognition of her uplifting spirit, strong work ethic, and leadership.
