FINE ARTS
Fine Arts at RHS is divided into three areas including Visual Arts, Theater and Forensics, and Music. One semester of Fine Arts and one semester of Oral Communications is required for graduation. The additional fine art courses can be taken as elective credits and are encouraged for students interested in the Arts, Audio-Visual Technology, and Communications career cluster.
VISUAL ARTS
Visual Arts at RHS promote mastery on several levels. The beginning levels emphasize gaining a degree of mastery of basic drawing techniques, design, and color theory. Experiences are provided in ceramics, printmaking, painting, and commercial art, where career awareness is stressed. Each of the advanced art courses builds on these beginning skills.
