Art Teacher

I absolutely love my job as an art teacher and I LOVE teaching students about art everyday. There is no greater joy than seeing a child learn, understand, and show enthusiasm about making art. I currently live in Russellville with my husband Shane and daughter Audrey. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a B.A. in graphic design and art education and have been employed with the Russellville School District since 2009. I have a strong passion in art advocacy, and for several years have worked for the non-profit Arkansas Art Educators Association as Elementary Division Director and Western Regional Art Show Coordinator.
